’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers tease that Kenny almost stepped in it with Armando. Apparently, Kenny had some things to say about Armando’s style of parenting. Armando really parents Hannah in a kind of laid-back kind of way.
You can tell she’s an only child because Armando is her friend and while she’s not a badly-behaved child you could definitely see where, if she were, this style of parenting might become a problem. However, Kenny was a little out of line trying to say that little Hannah was being manipulative right off the bat. He had known her, what, maybe 72 hours by that point? Even if she is 7, he had no right to say that about her.

So I don’t blame Armando for getting mad. Kenny is a new addition to the family, he may think he knows all about the ins and outs of Armando’s parenting style, but he hasn’t been there since Hannah has been born, he hasn’t known her all of her life so it’s unfair of him to say that she is being a manipulative child.
Children are going to ask for things when their parents go out shopping. She wasn’t being annoying about it, she was just asking for things, it’s a normal child thing to do.
But Kenny seems to be the authoritarian style parent. At first glance I thought Kenny would be the pushover style Dad, but as it turns out he’s not. His and Armando’s relationship is still new, especially with the addition of little Hannah to the mix.
I think Kenny needs to learn to read the room better if he intends on staying in the relationship with Armando. I’m glad this didn’t end in a fight, but you could tell that if Kenny had really pressed the issue Armando might have just chosen his daughter over Kenny’s opinion.
Kenny needs to lighten up, he had four kids and was used to being the disciplinarian, but Hannah is just one child. Speaking from the perspective of an only child, we’re slightly different from an entire gaggle of kids.
We have no one to emulate but our parent, so the majority of us (not all, obviously there’s some exceptions) are a bit more in-tune to the adult world than your average kid. Relax Kenny, until Armando asks for help, he’s got this.
