Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton has gotten a little salty about her friendship with current First Daughter Ivanka Trump. Actually, make that past friendship. Chelsea says that she has no interest in rekindling her friendship with Ivanka, as she believes that the former fashion designer has become very “complicit” in recent years, especially when it comes to her father, President Donald Trump, and his supposed conspiracy theories, sexism and racism.
Speaking to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, which took place before President Trump announced that he had tested positive for the coronavirus, Chelsea reflected on her past friendship with Ivanka. She says that they haven’t spoken to each other in years.

“I’ve not spoken to her since 2016, and I have no interest in being friends with someone who’s not only complicit, but actively taking part in this administration’s, like, everyday collision of cruelty and incompetence,” Chelsea said.
However, Chelsea did point out that she and Ivanka were on very good terms during the beginning of the 2016 White House Presidential race. She continued, “It’s just really hard when there’s someone who’s actively embracing their candidate, whether it’s their father or not, who’s trafficking in racism, and sexism, and anti-Semitism, and Islamophobia, and homophobia, and transphobia, and conspiracy theories, and lies and is so fundamentally corrupt.”
“I don’t think they’re the same by any standard, but I think she’s more than complicit as anyone who’s worked for him for so long by definition is,” Clinton added. “And I don’t want to be friends with someone like that.”
Chelsea also had some parting words for the President. She added, “Donald Trump is still a racist, incompetent, cruel, miserable ghoul of a human being.”
