NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that star Linsey Godfrey (Sarah Horton) is beginning a new chapter in her life, and it’s one for the better. The actress, who was also known as Caroline Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful, just announced that she has quit drinking. Here’s what she has to say.
Linsey, who is often very honest with her fans on social media, revealed that she has not had a drink in over nine months, despite everything that has been going on in the world. On Friday night, the brunette beauty took to her Twitter account to say, “I quit drinking 9 months ago yesterday. I just had to say it out loud. It feels good.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for her fans and followers to comment on her decision to quit the bottle once and for all. Many shared their own stories of struggles and challenges with alcohol, with the majority of them congratulating Linsey for beginning a new path to sobriety.
Linsey replied to all of the comments with, “Man, I am beyond humbled and grateful for the words of support and kindness about me saying I quit drinking this year. Thank you so much everyone. Weird year to be dry that’s for sure haha! I’m so truly touched and beyond grateful for the support. Love you all!”
