That’s because he is looking bring in a few key witnesses in the hopes that the court will not only side with him, but also give him at least 50 percent custody of the ex-couple’s six children. According to Us Weekly, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s custody trial is scheduled to begin October 5, and Brad’s witness list has just been released. A lot of people can’t help but wonder why Brad has decided to include actress Jillian Armenante, who co-starred with Angie in both Girl, Interrupted and A Mighty Heart. While Brad plans to testify and have his attorneys cross-examine Angelina he also wants the actress’ former co-star Jillian Armenante to take the stand.

“Brad wants 50/50 joint physical and legal custody of the kids. Angelina has been unagreeable to those terms,” one source close to the situation revealed to Us Weekly in a recent interview. “[She] will only agree to talk about an agreement if the home base for the children isn’t Los Angeles. The younger kids are in school in Los Angeles, which Angelina has always been opposed to. They are very smart and are eager to attend school in person [amid the COVID-19 pandemic].”
However, there is a second source that says Angelina Jolie has nothing but good intentions and wants to do what’s best for everyone involved, including Brad. “Her interests are the same as they always have been, which is to protect the kids and the health of the family,” the insider said. “In the end, she is going to do what’s best for the children as she has done all along.”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for former Brangelina fans and critics to comment on the situation. Many took to their social media accounts to write, “She’s got an extremely unhealthy relationship with her children. She needs them with her at all times because she’s got no one else. No man and not one friend. It’s really pathetic. She’s most likely someone that hates being alone,” along with, “50/50 is not only not unreasonable, it gives Angelina some alone time to get her groove back. How the hell is this ‘unagreeable’?? That only makes her look irrational to the court. If the dude isn’t unfit, then share custody.”
Another fan wrote, “If she really cared for those kids, she would agree with 50% custody, and would quit dragging them through her egomaniacal bull$hit. Give up already. You are harming your children, and when they get old enough to understand, will resent you for the rest of your life for pulling this crap for four freaking years.”
