CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers say that even though her family and friends are trying to stage an intervention and help her, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will refuse to admit that she has an actual problem with her addiction to pain pills. In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, actress Jaqueline MacInnes Wood, who plays Steffy on the hit CBS soap, says that her character is not only going to have a hard time facing reality, but she’s going to lash out at everyone who even dares to help her.

That’s because she’s in denial. But for Steffy, there’s more to the pain that she is feeling from her motorcycle accident. Everything that has happened in the last several years is finally going to come to the surface.
Jacqueline says, “She knows that she is not in control but does not realize the effect this has on people in her life. She’s very defiant. Ever since losing Liam, her whole life has been dedicated to raising Kelly and if that is on the line she will go from zero to 100 to keep her daughter.
What she’s grappling with now is how the pills numb her pain but at this point it’s not just physical pain, it has become emotional pain. She’s really going down the rabbit hole.”
What’s more, this is going to be quite the wake up call for Steffy and her new man, Dr. Finn (Tanner Novlan). Jacqueline continues, “It’s sad for her because at the beginning, there was that real, genuine attraction for him and it’s obviously still there.
She has some real obstacles to overcome and while she may or may not see a future with him, these pills are definitely closing her judgement about everything that’s going on in her life.”
