According to IGN and Variety, Samuel L. Jackson is reportedly returning as the patch wearing Nick Fury for a Disney+ original streaming series. Jackson previously made a minor cameo in the television series ‘Agents of Shield’, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he’d return to the television screen.

While there’s no for sure confirmation on the whole thing, it seems highly likely that this is in motion and Disney just isn’t ready to release the details yet, or they’re still working on the details. Take a look at an Instagram post below from IGN, who reported on it earlier today.

“Samuel L. Jackson himself will reportedly play the eternally enigmatic Nick Fury in a new Disney+ series written and directed by Kyle Bradstreet.”

Of course, therein lies the question. Is it possible we’ll be experiencing some burn out shortly? We’ve been in this universe for well over a decade. When is it too much? Well, as long as people keep watching, they’ll keep going!
