Univision Imperio de mentiras spoilers reveal Elisa Cantú (Angelique Boyer) keeps getting deeper into a mess. And she’s not exactly handling it well.
Plus, we saw more trouble with Renata Cantú (Susana González) as well as more trouble in the family. And we can’t even with the story the writers seem to be setting up. Let’s see what happened and talk what might.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Used and abused
First, there’s Renata. Imperio de mentiras spoilers reveal she started the episode off acting like the queen of the company. She was sending off memos and demanding things of the employees. This took a bad turn for her.
As we were saying, Victoria de Cantú (Leticia Calderón) came in and saw this. She quickly took control of the situation and reminded Reanta she’s in no condition to run things. Nor does she have the power to make any decisions here.
That’s Victoria’s right as the next of kin. Renata tried throwing Elisa under the bus by tattling on how she sold shares to Eugenio Serrano (Alejandro Camacho). This led to a bit of a confrontation between Elisa and Victoria.
However, Elisa explained the terrible state her father left the company in and how the sale was the only way to save the company. Plus, by selling to him, she kept it in the family. Elisa has no idea how badly she got played by her uncle and his supposed loyalties. But it was technically the right call, and Victoria backs it.
Later, a scene between her and Marcelo Arizmendi (Juan Martín Jáuregui), her husband, made us uncomfortable. He seemed to be encouraging her to sell her own shares and claimed he had some great idea to show she’s smarter than they think. We really feel he’s manipulating her.
Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: More twists
Also, there were a couple of twists last night. First, Fernanda Navarro (Michelle González) seems to have a son she won’t acknowledge. Her mother apparently made her have the child, and we can’t help but wonder if he’s actually Augusto Cantú’s (Enrique Singer) son. Because when the kid ran up to the window while she and Elisa were talking, she started acting strange.
Plus, we learned that Julia Álvarez’s (Jessica Decote) mother, Nieves (Cecilia Toussaint) is a liar. She claims hey all went to bed and know nothing about Julia leaving the house the night of the murder. A flashback proved that to be a total lie. We saw her and Julia talking before she left, and Nieves gave her a blessing before Julia took a cab.
Elsewhere, we saw more crazy with the Cantú family. Marcelo and Sonia (Sandra Kai) are apparently plotting to take everything. He wants her to get him all the information she can about the contract between Eugenio and Elisa. They want to move fast, because he thinks they need to get all the money they can now. Is there anyone on this show not scheming? It’s insane. And we sort of love that.
Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Bad move
Finally, there’s Elisa. She is really not handling this situation well. She got caught snooping through Julia’s room, something Leonardo Velasco (Andrés Palacios) can’t tolerate. He demanded answers and knows she’s being threatened. When she refused to talk, he dragged her into the police station. This is where she chose to side with the bad guys.

Fearful for her sister’s life, she said she wanted to report Leonardo for going after her family. Not to mention, dragging her into the station like this. First, you look suspicious as all get out snooping in that girl’s house. Second, she’s now stuck moving some pieces to New York.
She’s supposed to be cool and collected, but we could see the nerves all over her. Not to mention, she almost went to one of the security people, despite knowing she’s followed everywhere. We just don’t see how this girl is going to get herself out of this mess.
Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Please no
Finally, let’s talk María José Cantú (Alejandra Robles Gil). She’s still being held by Darío Ramírez (Iván Arana) and the rest. Although Elisa was promised she would be set free if the New York trip goes well. Meanwhile, the poor girl is stuck with the crooks. One of which nearly raped her.
Lucky for her, Darío came along and stopped it. He and Eugenio had an agreement she wouldn’t be harmed. So, he did what he was supposed to do. However, we didn’t like how she clung to him. We think they’re leading into a Stockholm Syndrome mess. And we’re still not buying she’ll be released. That’s the best way to keep controlling Elisa.
