TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ spoilers reveal that we just extend a big social distance hug to Larissa! Because yike. I’m actually not that big of a fan of hers and think that she looked fine before going under the knife, but man, on a purely human level, you had to feel really bad for her when she was coming out of surgery.
I was a little worried because it took them a very long time to wake her up, or at least it seemed that way on camera. It could have just been a few minutes, what with the jump cuts between segments but I got a little worried when Eric had to come in not once, but twice to see if she was okay. Both times he was shooed out by a nurse saying that he could not be back there, and the longer it took them the more worried he became.

When she was finally awake her cries of “I can’t, I need to lie down!” and her begging Eric not to touch her because she was in too much pain were heartbreaking. I’ve had surgery before (not by my own free will) so I know what it’s like to wake up and feel like you’ve been hit with a mack truck and to feel like you can’t move. It’s not a good feeling.
Even though he was nervous, Eric handled it pretty much like a champ. I was kind of afraid when she was lying down in the front seat of the car, how on earth he was going to get her out without her screaming in pain, but he seemed to have it covered.
I felt so bad for her when she started crying when she hit the pillows though. OUCH, putting her knees up like that had to have hurt her new chest something awful. Thankfully, Eric had that covered too, he called the doctors and asked them if he could give her her pain meds and was responsible enough to even have her some kind of soup made so that she could eat after the procedure.
No doubt so that hse could take her pain medicine and not be plagued by nausea. He was so nervous though, bless him. The poor guy was doing his absolute best.
Hopefully, Larissa makes a speedy recovery. Not being able to move, even if you’re going to like the results later, sucks. Let’s hope he’s as good about being attentive going forward as he is right now. Stay tuned!!!
