Netflix’s ‘Someone Has to Die’ has been shrouded with mystery since it was first announced. Not much is known about the series other than it will be a three-episode mini-series taking place in 1950s Spain. All that we really know for sure is someone will die, apparently. You can watch the official date announcement trailer below where it asks even more questions rather than answering any.
The teaser was uploaded to Netflix’s official YouTube channel with the following description,
“The series takes place in 1950s Spain and has three episodes, revolving around a conservative and traditional society during the Franco regime, “where appearances and family ties play a key role”. It has an all-star cast, featuring Carmen Maura and Cecilia Suárez. It is set to premiere on Netflix in 2020. A golden cage still is a cage. Someone Has to Die, coming October 16, only on Netflix.”
