TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers finds that we think the short answer to that, would be no. I mean, Deavan Clegg might surprise me and let’s face it she has on several instances of these episodes of 90 day fiance the other way, but the thing is, I think Deavan may actually be in the clear on this one.
No matter how it looks to us, this was filmed a year ago. In fact, almost two judging by the fact that little Drascilla Clegg, Deavan’s daughter, just celebrated her 5th birthday recently. So while it looks like Deavan has moved on uber quickly from Jihoon Lee, she actually hasn’t and probably had a few months of mourning in between her decision to break up with Jihoon and move back to the US.

She says Drascilla was 3 at the time of filming. I’m not sure how long she had been three when Deavan moved to Korea so we’ll say at least a month. Again we’re not sure when filming began last year but little Taeyang Scuti Lee had just turned 100 days old according to Korean tradition so that means he was just over 3 months old. I’m not sure when he was born.
But we’re going to assume that his 100 day celebration happened before May 25th 2020, that was when, according to her youtube channel, Deavan came back to the US. In her youtube video detailing her return she did not say anything about a breakup, but she didn’t seem that upset either.
She said the reason for her coming back was “nothing too crazy, just some family stuff she had to take care of.” So at that time, she and Jihoon, I’m going to assume, were still together.
In fact as of 2 months ago when her last video with the Lee family was uploaded, it can be assumed that Deavan and Jihoon were still together. Now, as for her talking to the guy or knowing him while she was still with Jihoon – that is a possibiliity.
Whether or not it actually turned romantic is up for debate, but I’m going to give Deavan the benefit of the doubt for once and say that because she wanted little Taeyang to have his Dad in his life and seemed to still be planning to live in Korea up until 2 months ago.
That it was not romantic between her and this new guy. Although, let’s face it, at this point anything is possible, however it’s not like we’d know anything judging from the note TLC left things on. Stay tuned!!!
