British Royal Family News says that Meghan Markle is no longer as influential as she was perhaps this time last year. In fact, there is a new report that says the Duchess of Sussex has been left off Vogue UK’s list of influential women, even though Queen Elizabeth is still there. Here’s what you need to know.

It hasn’t been a very good year for Meghan Markle. Not only did she and Prince Harry ultimately pull the plug on their working relationship with the royal family, but they also moved back to her native Los Angeles during a global pandemic.

If that weren’t enough, Meghan has also been embroiled in a bitter court battle with a UK tabloid paper and her father, Thomas Markle Sr. And now it looks like the Duchess of Sussex is losing her influence in the celebrity world, which is perhaps the last thing she wants to see happen these days.

Introducing their annual list, the magazine says this year’s consists of “women of the moment who are leading us through 2020 with prescience, power and poise.” While there’s no mention of Meghan Markle, the prestigious fashion bible does praise Queen Elizabeth for her historic television address during the coronavirus lockdown. The magazines praised the Queen’s “pitch perfect message” which comforted a country “grappling with fear and grief” during the crisis.

The Queen is the only member of the royal family to feature in Vogue’s top 25 most powerful women list this year. This comes as a bit of a surprise for many royal fans, seeing how Meghan Markle did guest edit an issue late last year. Of course, Buckingham Palace is yet to make any comments about the magazine’s list.
