As we all know, TikTok’s days are numbered in the US which is going to make a lot of young teens very, very upset. However, I personally have my doubts that the giant will actually get banned since it is the source of income for a lot of very, very popular people and I just doubt that anything that makes that kind of money will realistically be banned from our economy but hey stranger things have happened.

So, just for a second say that TikTok does get banned, where will all of those creators that have made so much money for our economy go?

Not everyone can go to youtube because not everyone makes those types of videos. Not all TikTokkers want to do sitdown storytime videos, and with the amount of censorship going on on youtube these days not everyone wants to move to the platform.

Also with dance videos, youtube is just… not the place. There’s certain things that you can do on TikTok that just would not translate cross-platforms. With a youtube dance video you have to have something that is well-choreographed, well lit, and well-filmed in order for the video to have any sort of reach. Youtube dance videos are mostly tutorials as well, I’ve found, whereas Tiktok videos seem to be mostly demos.

Tiktok: Where will all the Tiktok people go?

It takes a lot more effort to produce a good youtube video than it does to produce a good tiktok video. Also, youtube doesn’t offer the editing bells and whistles that TikTok does. So what close runner up would potentially take the place of the platform in question?

It looks like the app reelz, that is run by instagram, has some potential there, at least as far as the editing bells and whistles go. And also a lot of people have been turning to IG to do lives and such, and when people aren’t posting content on TikTok don’t they just go to instagram anyway? That seems to be the new ‘youtube’ as far as a lot of content creators are concerned.

Personally, I’ll always be a youtube stan, I’ve never understood TikTok but I do want to know just what on earth is going to happen to these creators after the content giant is gone. I kind of hope that something will happen so that it’s not banned.

No, I didn’t understand it but I didn’t hate it and it just seems like shame to ban an entire app that an entire generation is using. Guess I’ll just download it while the downloading is good. Hah. Stay tuned!!!
