Over the weekend while out with ex-wife Tana Mongeau, Jake Paul expressed that he is quitting youtube. Of course, when he went on his anti-youtube rant he was three sheets to the wind and this is not the first time that he’s proclaimed he’s qutting youtube.
It started back in 2017, and then again in 2018, and last year in 2019 he went onto declare that he was quitting the platform as well, but this time he may actually be leaving because it’s been 3 weeks since he posted any kind of content to his channel, and the last thing he posted was a vlog with his brother and they discussed their issues.
But why is Jake Paul quititng now? He says that he wants to quit and focus on boxing and his music career. Maybe I’m outdated, maybe it’s because I’m not an 11 year old but the last time I heard Jake Paul open his mouth, my advice to him would have bene to beg him to please not quit his dayjob.
Not to sound like Simon Cowell here, but when did Jake Paul drop a single that people actually remembered besides “It’s everyday bro”? Maybe I’m just not educated, or perhaps its because anything Jake Paul does is not for my particular demographic.

As for prize-fighting being his new forte, that’s a proclamation that I could actually see making sense. I’ve never seen Jake fight, actually, so I cannot comment on his skill, but he seems to be pretty dedicated to it training wise.
After all, it was the love that got him to leave Tana Mongeau. However, with recent events going down, there’s also been speculation that his decision to leave the platform had something to do with the FBI raid on his house.
Youtube has tried to rebrand itself into such a kid-friendly platform (despite there already being a youtube specifically for kids) that even the non-controversial content creators are having trouble monetizing their videos due to things you can and cannot say in youtube videos. (Really youtube, you can’t talk about COVID-19 without being demonetized?
Whatever dude!) It’s clear that as time wears on, Jake is owning the controversial side of his personality, he’s made all the money he wanted off of youtube and he’s now going to go do adult things. Like fight, and do whatever kind of music he claims to do. Also there is his involvement in the company “fanjoy” that he says brings him income so there’s that.
Although, and this is just speculation, it makes me wonder if his fringe involvement in the shady, adult side of things and his new connection with this Izahdi guy didn’t end up netting him some money as well.
After all, the adult entertainment industry makes a lot more money than youtube ever could. Just some food for thought there. So will Jake Paul completely leave youtube? We shall see. Stay tuned!!!
