TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ spoilers suggest that Colt came to talk to Jess in the hotel room and they talked over the whole shoe-throwing incident from the previous episode. Jess admitted that yes, she lost control, but Colt had lied to her.
Colt had told her that he was no longer friends with Vanessa, but she flipped out when she found out that she was babysitting his cats. You know, I can kind of see that. If Colt had tried to explain to Jess previously that she was the only one who could cat-sit while he was gone, then maybe she would have understood. She did say that she usually talked things out.

He compared her to Larissa, which kind of wasn’t fair because let’s face it, she was not around for his relationship with Larissa so she doesn’t actually know that Larissa used to run out on him during fights, she didn’t knw how Larissa acted except for what he’s told her.
She doesn’t know Larissa so it’s really unfair to compare the two, but credit to both of them, the conversation didn’t descend into name calling or another fight, they managed to talk it out. However the car ride with Debbie was definitely awkward later because she kept antagonizing Jess and telling her that Colt was allowed to have female friends and basically everything Colt had told Jess back in the hotel room but in a way that was meant to get a negative reaction out of Jess.
While Jess definitely stood up for herself, she did not rise to Debbie’s occassion. She didn’t start fighting with Debbie in the car but just told her that Colt needed to respect her wishes. Which was perfectly fair, which tells me that she is different from Larissa and Debbie is not being fair to her at all.
Clearly, Debbie was traumatized by whatever went down between Colt and Larissa and she was so shook at the airport that was saying aloud, “Don’t propose, don’t propose, don’t propose!” I’m sorry but what Mom does that to her son? I hope that Colt does take Jess’s advice even if he doesn’t end up marrying her, I hope that he does decide to live life on his own terms, and not just Debbie’s terms. But will he? Stay tuned!!!
