CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that we’ve reached the midpoint of what should be the final week of theme weeks, and the show fans are curious about this one.

Murder is a regular occurrence in daytime television, so having someone confess to where they dropped a body isn’t exactly unheard of.

And, in a regular break with the real world, neither is going to look for a dead body without telling the police, apparently.

Coming to us from April 16, 2004, this episode has an interesting shock or surprise moment where Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) go on a trek to find a dead body. Sounds like a Stephen King story. Oh, wait…

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For August 5: It had to be rats

Larry Warton (David Fralick) told Sharon where he dumped Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby)’s body. It just so happened to be in a sewer drain close to the Lakeside Bar.

Nikki decided to come along, so the three of them ran the gambit as they fought off rats, the scum, and stench of the sewer as though they were in an adventure or horror film.

‘Young and the Restless’ would like to build up the horror aspect of this, but it feels more like an adventure similar to Indiana Jones.

Throughout their trek, Nikki regretted her decision to come along multiple times, including once when she got sick.

If Sharon hadn’t continued urging her to continue, she probably would’ve quit. But then, Nikki is pretty stubborn so she may have stuck it out just because.

They eventually discover their hidden treasure, er, body wrapped in a sheet.

The smell would understandably be stronger here, and we’re curious if Nikki was grateful she purged earlier or not.

Call it morbid curiosity. We’ve read enough Stephen King books and watched enough movies to know there may be something missing from this scene.

But, moving back onto the topic at hand, with the reason for them to be there at hand, they approached, causing the rats to scatter.

Or so we assume. Again, lifetime of horror and adventure movies and books speaking here, so please forgive us.

To prove who it was, Larry pulled back the sheet, causing Sharon to scream and faint into Nikki’s arms.

Sounds like quite the adventure. What’s the most bizarre or morbid adventure you’ve seen? Let us know below, and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
