Coronation Street spoilers have teased that one of the most beloved new couples in Weatherfield could be about to hit the rocks after a shock return of another family member. Viewers of the soap have been thrilled that Abi Franklin has finally been able to come clean about her feelings for Kevin Webster, after the pair of them had been trying to hide how they really felt for months.
It was clear to all viewers that there was more between the two than just friendship and fans were delighted when they finally decided to explore those feelings. However, it has been teased that a shock return for Kevin’s sister could mean that Kevin and Abi’s relationship is destined for heartbreak.

The spoilers have revealed that Kevin’s sister will return to Weatherfield and will clash with Abi. It will be a difficult time for Kevin, as his sister reveals that she is not so keen on the mechanic, and encourages him to end the relationship, as she believes that he can do better than Abi.
Debbie Webster was last seen in Weatherfield last year and the first person that she saw on her return to Weatherfield was Abi. The two clashed immediately, but they were able to make amends. Her return last year was the first time that she has been in the soap for over 30 years.
Debbie’s return was down to her offering Kevin some money that she had received from an inheritance. Debbie admitted that she didn’t need it, and that Kevin and Sophie would likely get more use out of it.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Debbie Takes Dislike To Abi
It will be a difficult challenge for the new couple, as Kevin will be faced with choosing between his sister and the woman that he is in love with. There have already been challenges for the pair, as Ray Crosby threatened to break them up. He found out that Abi had set fire to his car, before using the evidence to blackmail Kevin.
As a result, Kevin needed to sign over the garage to ensure that his girlfriend would be able to walk away without the threat of going to prison hanging over her. However, this new challenge could be a step too far for the new couple. But, will they be able to get through it?
