British Royal Family News says that not even a global pandemic will stop Princess Beatrice from marrying the love of her life.

After her wedding was postponed not once, but twice because of the Covid-19 outbreak that has forced millions of people from around the world to go into lockdown, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughter finally married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in an intimate ceremony at Windsor Castle this week.

And yes, there was a lot of social distancing going on. Here’s what you need to know.

The Royal Family shared two new photos of Princess Beatrice and her new husband Edo on their official Instagram account. One photo was of the happy newlyweds together while the other was of Beatrice and Edoardo keeping their distance but standing next to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

Reports say that only 20 people attended the wedding, which of course included Beatrice’s parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. However, the royal family has not released any photos of the happy bride alongside her mother and her father.

Beatrice’s wedding dress was loaned to her by none other than her grandmother, the Queen.

The Royal Family Instagram account captioned the two photos with, “Congratulations to HRH Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi! The couple were married in a small private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor on Friday 17th July.”

The post also said, “Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi celebrated their wedding with their closest family. Princess Beatrice wore a vintage dress by Norman Hartnell and the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, both belonging to Her Majesty The Queen. The tiara was worn by Her Majesty on her wedding day in 1947.”
