There’s a new report that says the reality television star is fully backing her husband Kanye West, as he has just announced that he is running for President of the United States. The rapper made his announcement on Twitter this weekend. Here’s what he has to say.
“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future,” Kanye wrote on his Twitter account. “I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION.” One source close to the couple revealed to Us Weekly, “Kanye has been planning this for years and Kim has known about his aspirations and has been supportive. Kanye is passionate about arts and education and wants to support in any way he can.”

So far Kim Kardashian herself has not made any comments about her husband’s aspirational POTUS goals herself, however she did retweet his message with an emoji of the American flag. Of course, it didn’t take very long for her Twitter fans to respond to the news. Quite a few of her fans left comments such as, “I thought it was a joke, but I guess not… I would give him 1% of the vote when all is said and done. I thought he was more savvy than this, I know his ego is huge but seriously?” along with, “This is a joke. Kayne should test out his political motivation and run for Mayor of Chicago before imagining becoming a Commander in Chief. Dude has his head in the clouds.” Another fan wrote, “Passionate about the arts and education? Do they have any idea of what being the leader of the world leading country entails? For which party is he planning to run? Democrats, I hope…or maybe Independent?”
