Coronation Street spoilers have shown that there is set to be a dramatic showdown in Friday’s episode between Nick Tilsley and Peter Barlow. Long time viewers of the soap will be aware that the two have a lot of bad blood, and that could once again be highlighted in the episode tonight as they clash after Simon Barlow overhears Leanne Battersby reveal that she is only a mother to one son.
Simon was left heartbroken after Leanne emotionally spoke about the damage that will be caused if Oliver Battersby passes away. He was stunned when he realised that Leanne didn’t think of him as her own, and immediately stormed out. He was that annoyed by the revelation that he didn’t even go to the exam that he was meant to be sitting at school.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Leanne Finds Out About Simon
Leanne found out that Simon didn’t sit the exam and when he returned home, she immediately shouted at him and claimed that he wasn’t thinking about his future. She said that some people don’t have the luxury of a future, which was clearly a reference to how ill Oliver is. Simon wasn’t about to stand around and take the threats from Leanne, and left the house.
Of course, Leanne has no clue why Simon is acting out, and she will be heartbroken when she does find out that it was her words that made him miss the exam. Simon will reveal tonight that he is moving in with Peter for a few weeks, which leads Nick to question why he is doing that.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Nick Finds Out The Truth
Simon reveals why he wants to move in with his father when talking to Peter. He tells him that he was hurt by what Leanne said, before Peter says that he is allowed to stay with him for a while. Leanne will hear about why Simon is upset and will try and make things right with him.
However, Simon remains adamant that he is moving in with Peter, and that’s when Nick sees red. Nick will accuse Peter of trying to steal his son away from Leanne, and that he didn’t think it was fair with everything that she is going through. But, how will Peter react with the accusations that Nick is throwing around?
