Coronation Street spoilers have highlighted that the relationship between the Battersby sisters shows no sign of improving. The spoilers are focused on the scenes that will be shown tonight in the soap, as the Leanne is still reeling from the news that her son Oliver will not be overcoming the illness that he has been diagnosed with.
The news has come as a hammer blow for Leanne, who was convinced that her son would overcome the illness. Those closest to her was aware that she was in denial about her son’s condition as she was convinced that he was going to get better despite doctors telling her to remain realistic about Oliver’s chances.

There has been some conflict between the two sisters this past week, with Leanne being unable to handle the news. Leanne lashed out at Toyah revealing that she will never know what it would be like to be a mother as she is unable to carry a child. Nick knew that the comment was undeserved, and urged Leanne not to push away everyone closest to her.
Toyah didn’t respond to the comment as she knows that her sister is hurting. However, there will be another blow in their relationship next week as Toyah is on the receiving end of some more harsh words from Leanne. But, will the sisters be able to make it through this challenging time in their relationship?

However, Leanne is quickly reminded by Nick and Imran that they are only trying to do what is right by her and Oliver. Leanne immediately responds by apologising to Toyah and that she is sorry. Nick then reveals that he believes that he and Leanne should attend a support group, but how will Leanne react?
Meanwhile, Toyah will have a big decision to make as she and Imran have moved a step closer to becoming foster carers. However, Leanne’s setback could mean that they may be forced to delay doing this, but will Toyah tell her sister that they were close to adopting before scrapping the idea because of Oliver’s condition?
