On Thursday night, Aurora Villareal (Sofía Lama) had already left Luis. However, she felt an obligation to tell the truth, so she paid a visit to Jimena. It didn’t go well. As soon as the truth came out, Jimena seriously went for her hair. Luis just happened to come back in time to see this and pull them apart. Then he realized what’s happened.
We have to give tons of props to Sáenz for her portrayal of Jimena here. And to the writers for how they handled it. Jimena’s pain was obvious, and she had to take a minute to even be able to ask if this is true. When he had no choice but to finally face up, she lost it and tossed him out. Then she tossed out Aurora, too.

Despite Aurora explaining why she didn’t tell Jimena right away (she’d been unsure if Jimena knows, for one), this wasn’t good enough. Jimena made it clear they are not friends, and she should have told her a while ago. We almost can’t blame Aurora, and we think Jimena will eventually see her position. We still feel they’ll reconnect and get revenge eventually.

In other news, Ale’s family is still struggling with her revelation that she identifies as a male. Emiliano León (David Chocarro) is obviously taking this the easiest. He’s not only a doctor, but he didn’t even know about his daughter until very recently. For Reme, it’s a little more difficult. However, she’s still 100% on Ale’s side.
The one who is really taking this hard is Ramiro Rivera (Humberto Zurita). He’s an old-fashioned kind of guy, and has had enough trouble dealing with the idea Ale likes women. This new revelation set him off on a rant about sin and how their parenting led to this. Really, we think there’s a lot of pain and confusion in him. He’s helped raise a granddaughter and been a part of Ale’s life from the start. He can’t understand how fast everything in his house got turned upside down. However, Reme is understanding and offered comfort. We think they’ll all come together and find a way to deal soon.
