CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds a day for romance and heat as Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) jetset off to their Hawaiian wedding back in November 1990. The episode is filled with beautiful scenes and 90s fashion – not to mention its fair share of drama. Will Christine and Danny have the wedding of their dreams, or will their Genoa City drama be following them to the big island?

Christine and Danny are confident that their enemy, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is back in the winter wonderland of Genoa City. However, it can never be that easy when daytime television’s feistiest redhead is in the mix! The two enjoy their trip to Hawaii with close friends, delicious food, and lots of romance. Their family and friends have joined them for the occasion.
Back in Genoa City, things aren’t going smoothly for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). She has fallen off of a horse and she’s in excruciating pain. She’s debating whether or not she wants to go through the recommended surgery or perhaps become paralyzed. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is trying to console Nikki and provide support to his wife. However, Nikki’s ex-husband, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is juggling his family with his new wife, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
It’s true…the Abbott/Newman saga was going strong back in 1990. Nikki is trying to prove to Victor how strong she is – despite how much pain she’s in. Clearly her feelings for her ex-husband aren’t completely subsided yet. Little does she know that Victor and she will still live out three decades of their love story. Which means that her marriage to Jack will be short lived.
