NBC ‘Days of our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicates that star Kate Mansi (Abigail Deveraux) recently opened up about the great bond that she has with her on-screen father, Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux). In fact, Kate not only gets along really well with the actor but apparently her real-life dad does, too! Here’s what she has to say.
Kate Mansi considers herself to be one lucky woman. Not only does she have a great off-screen father, but a great on-screen father, too. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, the brunette beauty puts it this way, “With Matt and me, it’s such a natural father/daughter dynamic and the same with Missy Reeves (Jennifer Horton) and the whole family. This time around, when I went back, we were shooting the app series Chad and Abby in Paris. On the day that I directed, my father actually came to set to watch and Matt was shooting something different that day, as well, so many dad and Matthew Ashford in the hallway and started talking. I introduced them and before I knew it, they were talking!”

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kate Mansi Opens Up About The Two Dads In Her Life
The two men were getting along so well that they couldn’t stop chatting! Kate adds, “It was like 20 minutes had gone by or something and I had to say like, ‘Okay you guys, I got to go.’ I kept nudging them and reminding them. And they’d be like, ‘Okay, no problem.’ And then they would keep talking. Finally, I was like, ‘All right. You guys stay here. I’m just going to go to wkr. Find me when you are ready.’ That was a fun experience.”
