British Royal Family News suggests that Meghan Markle’s best friend Jessica Mulroney has not only gotten fired from her job with a Canadian television network, but has also been canceled by the public. The television star and stylist has been fired from her CTV show, I Do Redo for racist remarks she apparently made during an argument with a black influencer. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, the network said in an announcement that Jessica’s recent actions had conflicted with “their commitment to diversity and equality.” This comes after a video that was posted by Canadian influencer Sasha Exeter, who says that Jessica threatened her during their argument.

After CTV announced that they were giving Jessica Mulroney the pink slip for her behavior, it didn’t take very long for many royal fans and critics to comment about the matter. Some people took to their social media accounts to say, “My first thought was oh she thinks because she has a black friend she’s exempt. I’m curious what Meghan thinks about this, although obviously it’s not on her to respond for what her friend says,” along with, “Well said. Jessica Mulroney is well known for being a vicious piece of work. Anytime she has been mentioned, people get defensive because of Meghan.”
Another critic and Meghan Markle fan added this, “For the last two years other posters would get all up in arms whenever anyone criticized Jessica Mulroney. But a lot of Canadian’s have been saying that these two are grifters who have benefited hand over fist from their privilege. And people have been saying that they’re just not nice people for such a long time.”
So far Meghan Markle herself hasn’t made any comments about the controversy but at the same time there have been reports hinting that she is looking to become a royal model for the Black Lives Matter movement. It will be interesting to see how long it will be before Meghan is seen in public with Jessica Mulroney or if she will cut ties with her altogether.
