    Netflix’s Terrace House: Kimura’s Death

The death of Hana Kimura hit the Japanese community hard and fans of the show are still trying to grasp what exactly happened. When we looked at Kimura’s social media accounts, it was clear that she was being bullied in some way. Most think it was cyber bullying because of an incident on Terrace House.

Netflix’s Terrace House: Cancelled After Hana Kimura’s Death

Terrace House is a reality show that is about six strangers living together. It follows them daily and Kimura was one of the cast members. There was an incident where one of the other cast members washed Kimura’s wrestling outfit and ruined it. There was a lot of backlash on social media and one fan even wrote a rude comment to her on her Twitter and then made the hashtag “RIP.”

Fans of the show didn’t like her attitude about her outfits getting ruined, but she did have a reason to be mad. On social media, the day before she died, she posted some pretty cryptic posts. One that she left on Twitter said, “I don’t want to be a human anymore. It was a life I wanted to be loved. Thank you, everyone. I love you. Bye.”

Yvette Tan from BBC News wrote, “With her pink hair and bubbly personality, Hana was one of the most endearing personas of the show. She said, in between giggles, that she had come to the show to look for love. But Hana’s death is a reminder that while Terrace House might not be your typical reality show, it is very much still a reality show. While you think you know the characters, you still just have a 45-minutes window each week into their daily lives. At one point in the season, cast member Emika Mizukoshi was subject to harsh criticism from the panelists who provide a running commentary on the show. She was filmed breaking down as she watched the episode, saying she regretted ever going on the show.”

We are very saddened by Kimura’s death send love to her family. For any other soap opera and entertainment news, please visit Daily Soap Dish. For more royal and celeb baby news, come back to Celeb Baby Laundry.
