Love Island news finds that fans will remember that EastEnders star Danny Dyer isn’t the biggest fan of the ITV2 show. On Monday evening he appeared on BBC’s new chat show ‘The Ranganation’ hosted by comedian Romesh Ranganathan. It was a typically fiery display by the EastEnders actor, who plays Mick Carter.
He claimed that the reality show was a ‘pile of s###’, before revealing that he would have preferred for his daughter to go on Netflix’s dating show ‘Too Hot To Handle’. Fans of the Dyer family will remember than Danny’s daughter rose to prominence on the 2018 edition of the show as she won alongside Jack Fincham.
Love Island News: Dyer Prefers Netflix Reality Show
When Ranganathan asked whether he would have preferred Dani to go on Too Hot To Handle instead of Love Island, he said yes. Dyer admitted that he thought the concept of ‘spiritual connection stuff’ made for entertaining television. Too Hot To Handle has become an immediate success story, with the winners getting their share of the $100,000 cash prize should they abstain from kissing and sex for the duration of the stay.
Dani and her boyfriend at the time Jack were the red hot favourites to win Love Island in 2018, and won the show by the biggest majority in Love Island history. However, they weren’t able to stay together back in the real world. The couple broke up shortly after the series wrapped up. However, Jack has recently revealed that Dani will always have a place in his heart.
Love Island News: Dani Reveals Why Relationship Didn’t Work
Their relationship came to an end six months after the show wrapped up, when they made the announcement on Instagram in December. Dani spoke about their separation when she appeared on the Jonathan Ross Show. She admitted that the main reason for their split was down to them spending every second together and that they weren’t able to miss each other.
Since splitting up, they have gone in their own directions. Dani has starred in pantomimes alongside her father, and she has also written two books. Meanwhile, Jack has appeared on other reality shows such as ‘Celebs Go Dating’, and has also been doing promotional work with sports betting company Paddy Power.
