When they appeared on the show in 2018, the two talked about how they met when Ashley was in Jamaica on vacation. They ended up falling for one another and they got married and moved to America together. Things didn’t go so well for them though. Ashley caught up in a lot of lies, including using a dating app while they were married. He just told her that he was bored and that’s how people meet friends and since he was new to the area, that’s what he did. Likely story, right? Jay did get caught cheating several times and once was even in the bathroom of the barbershop that he goes to! Ashley told him that she was done, but after she needed some help with her health issues, she asked him to come back to her. This couple has been through a lot and Ashley has told fans that no matter what, they are going strong now and she is sticking by him.

This couple filed for divorce already, but once the lockdown orders started, they called it all off. They started making TikTok videos and that seemed to be that. They are now back together and sharing a lot more of their lives on social media. Ashley changed her name back to Ashley Smith on all of her social media accounts and these two look happier than ever. They officially called off their divorce and even Ashley has been sharing pictures of their wedding on Instagram.

They seem very happy, but when we look at what their fans are saying, we do want to question their choices. One fan wrote, “How many times do you have to get hurt both emotionally and financially before you learn?” Another wrote, “Fifty-leven days, umpteen hours.” Ashley took the time to defend their relationship by saying, “Desperate is coming to someone’s page you don’t even follow and talking s**t. Like you literally had to look me up to make this comment. Get a f***ing life.”
