BBC ‘EastEnders’ spoilers have revealed that Linda Carter could be set for more devastation over the coming weeks as she could once again fall off the wagon. Viewers will remember that she has been struggling over recent years with her battle against alcohol, but she made a vow following the traffic events of the 35th anniversary episode that she will quit drinking for good.
Since then she has already relapsed once, and spoilers have now emerged that a second relapse could be on its way. She made that first slip-up a few weeks ago now, and that made Mick Carter make a huge decision regarding their future. He realised that they couldn’t own the Queen Vic anymore as the temptation was too great.

Linda was stunned with the revelation but she quickly agreed that it was the right decision. Since then they have been looking for a potential buyer, and viewers were convinced that Phil Mitchell could be that man. However, Phil and Linda have never seen eye to eye, and recently Linda avoided going to an AA meeting after she realised that Phil was also there.
This week fans saw how Phil talked to Mick about the prospect of buying the pub, but he also admitted that he had concerns for Linda. He will reveal that he believes that she is avoiding going to meetings, and that Mick should talk to her about her demons. He continued to turn the screw by admitting that they should move out of the Vic as soon as possible for Linda’s well-being.

Fans then saw Linda burst over to the Mitchells to demand answers for his words to Mick. She questioned whether he believed that she was truly ready to move on, and Phil quickly hit back claiming that she doesn’t know how difficult it is. Phil has been clean for four years now, but almost hit the bottle again after finding about Sharon Mitchell’s affair.
It’s difficult to say at present whether Phil truly has good intentions with helping Linda, but he did agree to sit down with her and talk about the troubles. However, viewers quickly feared that Linda could once again start drinking again after realising how difficult it really is. Fans will have to continue watching to see whether Linda can stay strong.
