Cennet spoilers indicate things are getting uglier by the day. As Melisa Soyer (Zehra Yılmaz) remains determined to keep Selim Arısoy (Berk Atan) for herself, her parents are having an even worse time. Let’s take a look at how things went down on Monday.
Cennet spoilers: Reality check… sort of
As Melisa whines her way through the episodes, complaining about how she wants Selim and how horrible it is that he’s paying attention to Cennet Yılmaz (Almila Ada) instead, Arzu Soyer (Esra Ronabar) does what she can to keep her entitled little princess happy. She’s trying to force a relationship with a man who doesn’t want Melisa to do it, but why not? It seems to run in the family. We’ll get to that in a second. For now, let’s marvel at the cruelty Arzu used to make Cennet back off.
You might remember they were all at a birthday party. Cennet spoilers reveal it was in honor of Orhan Soyer. He also had a plan for winning Cennet, but it was foiled when Selim offered to take Cennet home instead. But that didn’t stop Arzu from getting in the way. She once more approached the daughter she doesn’t want to tell her all about how she’s not worth anything. Okay, that’s a slight exaggeration. But only by a little. She did basically make it clear that Selim has a lot of money and he’s just not her league. And Cennet will never be worthy. This was enough to send Cennet sulking out of the party behind both Selim’s and Orhan’s backs. But fate’s clearly at work.
Cennet spoilers: Destined
It’s obvious they’re intending for Cennet and Selim to be together in the end. These two are childhood sweethearts torn apart, and neither knows for sure who the other actually is. However, Selim’s drawn to her as much as she is to him. To make things more obvious, Cennet apparently hasn’t forgotten her old friend, and Beste Tuna (Sude Nur Yazıcı) is hard at work looking for him. We’re sure it’s only a matter of time before either her efforts pay off, or Nilgün Arısoy (Çiçek Acar) exposes his identity through her paranoid fits. Once they do know who he really is? It’s on. We’re positive of that.

As for how this will affect things? We’re pretty sure it’ll cause huge chaos with Orhan. He doesn’t seem the type to give up easy. And Selim will likely be so devastated by the lies he’s apparently been fed, his family will be torn apart. We can see Selim and Cennet getting closer as a result of all that. With the investigation on into Arzu’s past, it’s not long before she is exposed as well. And things will get even worse. Imagine Melisa’s reaction when she finds out she’s at war over a man with her own half-sister? And while he isn’t technically blood-related to Cennet, Orhan is going for his sister-in-law’s daughter. We can’t. It’ll be epic.
Cennet spoilers: Crashing down
Adding to the problems in the Soyer family is the war between Rıza Soyer (Ali İpin) and Mahir Soyer (Hazım Körmükçü). Rıza was furious when he learned Mahir had an affair with Özlem Arısoy (Ebru Destan). Now that Mahir knows the truth about what happened between her and Arzu, Mahir is back with his real love and sneaking around on the one forced on him by his father. In Monday’s episode, Rıza discovered they’re together again. Cennet spoilers reveal he retaliated by telling off his son, then cutting off his cards. Mahir’s life is in ruins now, and it’s only going to get worse once the whole story comes out.
We see Rıza never accepting the truth about Arzu. He seems too prideful to admit he’s wrong, and he also seems to be offended by Mahir’s defiance. This is sure to lead to a problem between him and Sema Soyer (Ebru Nil Aydın), and a possible divorce. Stay tuned to see how this all works out.
