NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers tease that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) recently did something that a lot of Salemites before her had either tried or dreamed of doing themselves, but perhaps just didn’t have a knife that was sharp enough to get the job done. After finding out that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) was behind the evil baby swap plan that forced Kristen to grieve her baby that never died, she took matters into her own hands and got her vicious revenge on Victor by stabbing him. Here’s why she did it.
Speaking to TV Insider, actress Stacy Haiduk, who plays Kristen DiMera on the hit NBC soap, offers this insight, “When you really look at it from Kristen’s point of view, this is something she felt she had to do. Stabbing Victor is like stabbing all the pain that she’s gone through – not just over this past year, but over the course of her life. As much as in real life I would say no to doing this, this is a soap opera. It’s Shakespeare. It’s Medea. You have to go to that dramatic place. This is a mother who has lost her child.”

While there’s no doubt that Kristen has gone through a rollercoaster of emotions these last two years, a lot of fans would agree that Kristen did what she had to in order to get her revenge. After all, she was forced to grieve a child that she technically never lost while Sarah Horton was raising her baby right in front of her. Now, as far as Victor is concerned, it’s no doubt that the House of Kiriakis is going to retaliate in a way that will make Kristen pay for what she did. Of course, Days of our Lives fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next.
