CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might want to work on that chemistry between them. That’s because there aren’t many fans out there that are convinced that their current romance has the spark or even fireworks it needs to go the distance. In fact, many think that this new relationship looks like a dude in the bedroom and in the bathroom shower. Yikes! Here’s what you need to know.
Of course, ‘Young and the Restless’ fans certainly have a lot to say about Phyllis and Nick’s hook up and unfortunately for writers, it might not be what they want to hear. Quite a few of them commented on the situation with, “Phyllis is like an alley cat…she can’t go a year without jumping at the first whiff of testosterone, old or new. Joshua Morrow looks equally repulsed in the screencap,” along with, “I saw part of that shower scene today. It was more awkward than hot. Seems like they’ve lost a step.”

Another fan wrote, “Joshua looks bored, has been off I think since the Dark Horse storyline. He was not a good candidate to be the big bad in that storyline, and definitely NOT someone to don a JT mask. But at least he looked alive in that storyline. Now, he’s sleepwalking through scenes. I wonder what’s up with him.”
With that said, time will only tell just how far Phyllis and Nick will go with the current situation they are in right now. However, knowing how Phyllis Summers operates, she’s not the kind of person to get busy with someone under the sheets without a personal motive, right?
