CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) understands why Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had the man killed. Although, this isn’t going to change how he continues on about obtaining the company. He believes Victor would do the same exact thing to him if in the same position. However, it is nice to see a moment of clarity in Adam’s eyes, if even for a brief moment.

Adam realizes that Victor most likely killed that man because he was threatening or endangered his child. Adam thought about his child, and how he would probably do the same thing. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) asks if he’s getting cold feet and if he’s changed his mind. Adam tells her no because Victor would probably still go through with it.

However, we find out that Victor tells Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that he’s innocent. It turns out some of the rumors we thought might be true. Like Victor covering up the murder for Hope and keeping her safe. If this is the case, Victor probably doesn’t want to tell Adam because it would tarnish his image of his mother. Plus, Adam would feel like he completely screwed over Victor by not finding out the truth.

What isn’t Victor telling us and what is he going to do about Adam taking the company? He assures Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that she will be back in the seat before she knows it, but how? Does he know about the murder Adam committed in Las Vegas, or some other juicy secret that he can leverage? Only time will tell so we’ll have to keep tuning in this week. What do you think? How is Victor going to get back at Adam? Let us know in the comments below.
