CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) might think that he’s faster, stronger, and definitely more manipulative than a lot of other people in Genoa City right now, he might be overestimating his own strength and intelligence. As much as he is hellbent on getting his revenge on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for not giving him what he wants (the CEO title at Newman Enterprises), the prodigal son might be in for a big surprise. Adam thinks that he is the only person capable and qualified enough to run the family business. That’s why when Victor Newman rescinded his offer and gave the CEO title to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) instead, Adam was shocked. He’s now become blind with hate and revenge and is doing whatever it takes to get his revenge on his father for doing him wrong. In other words, his ego has been left bruised and there’s no way he’ll let anyone see it or get away with it for that matter.

Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, actor Mark Grossman, who plays Adam Newman on the hit CBS soap, thinks that his character does having a fighting chance in this. Why? Because he’s been in this position before. But this time around Adam has incriminating evidence – he believes that Victor killed a man during his days in Kansas.
Adam told the publication, “Information is always power to Adam and it’s always good to have it in his pocket if he needs to use it.”
However, Adam might be trying to punch above his weight by going up against a man like his father. Victor hasn’t made it this far in his life just to be pulled down by someone like his son. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
