Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Thorsten Kaye, who plays Ridge on the hit CBS soap, admits that things need to change. The only problem is that his character doesn’t know how to do it.

He told the publication, “Every parent wants to believe the best about their kid. Ridge has put everything on the line to support his son. He risked his marriage. He gave his son the benefit of the doubt and sadly, it appears now that was all misplaced.
‘Bold and the Beautiful’ spoilers tease that while Ridge is trying to figure out what to do and where to go next with Thomas, at least there’s a good chance that he and his estranged wife Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will reunite in the meantime. The actor added, “There’s nothing more Ridge wants than to reunite with the woman he loves, for the umpteenth time. I can joke about it but obviously, when it comes to blended families, problems with the kids are a big issue. The one was incredibly divisive, but Ridge always believed that he and Brooke could overcome anything. It appears now, they might have that chance, but there’s no changing when has happened between their kids, and that could definitely come back and bit them.”
