CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers finds that after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) chose his son, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) over Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for filling Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) CEO position at Newman Enterprises, Adam was out for revenge. Feeling wronged by his father, Adam and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) were determined to take Victor down. The vendetta took the couple to Kansas to do some digging. It turns out they struck gold in the South.
Last week we found out that Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) might have the key to all of their questions. Years ago, Adam’s stepfather, Cliff Wilson (David Cowgill), had been presumably killed by Alyssa’s father, AJ Montalvo, who was a cunning loan shark in Kansas. However, the two didn’t stop there. Adam had a theory that Victor was responsible for AJ’s death – and it looks like he may have been right.

Alyssa confirmed that Cliff’s death was an accident. AJ had hired somebody to scare the man, however, it resulted in his death. Alyssa follows up with a jarring statement after explaining her findings, “My father wasn’t a killer, but yours definitely was”. With Y&R fans on edge, Alyssa lets Adam in on a secret. She found a phone record between Hope and Victor on the evening of AJ’s death. It looks as though Victor had paid off the coroner to move the body post-mortem and fabricate the autopsy.

Adam seems shocked – despite this being what he had hoped for the whole time. Adam convinces Alyssa to hand over all of the daunting evidence to him. He is planning to bring Victor down with this. Later on, Chelsea appears complaining about her run in with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) . At the ranch, she stood up for Adam. Victor responded, “What’s done is done”. Chelsea left him with a subtle threat. As Chelsea is telling Adam about this run in, Adam says, “We got him, Chelsea.” Do you think the couple are really going to take down the Y&R veteran?
