TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers: ‘Before the 90 Days’ finds that when Geoffrey Paschel went to Ukraine to meet Varya, there was one person back home who was quite vocal about how he hadn’t looked around enough in his own back yard and didn’t see what was right directly in front of his face, and that was Geoff’s longtime friend, Mary. Mary didn’t like the idea of Geoff going all the way to a foreign country in order to find love, in fact, it seemed like Mary was trying to find and forge a love connection for herself and Varya just interrupted things.
So when Varya was a little bit less than honest with Geoff, what did he do? He calls Mary to complain about it. Excuse me, what? Instead of working things out with the girl that he supposedly wanted to marry, he decided that he would instead, call his female friend back in the states whom he knows is hot for him. And before anyone argues the contrary that Geoff doesn’t have a clue, yes he does. She practically admitted it to his face and he told in one of the confessionals that timing had never been on their side as far as being in a relationship went.

TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: ‘Before The 90 Days’ – Will Geoffrey End Up With Mary?
He almost seemed convinced to run home, back to his family and probably back to Mary, but the thing is, as much as that would’ve made Mary happy, I think the saw it for what it truly would have been – a rebound. So she encouraged him to hear Varya out instead of just jumping on the next plane back to the US. You have to admire Mary’s restraint, another woman might have told them that Varya was no good for him and that he needed to give up the ghost and come back to his family ASAP but not Mary. Mary was a good sport about it, even if it did mean giving up the guy she wanted.
I truly do hope that one day, Mary can find her own guy that maybe isn’t Geoffrey. I get the feeling that the girl dodged a bullet there and that she needs a guy who won’t name her second fiddle, to anyone. As for Geoff, it looks like his relationship with Varya is back on track for the time being, but will it stay that way? Stay tuned!!!
