CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicate that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) truly might be the most delusional man in this fictional town of Los Angeles. That, or he just has such a scary obsession that he truly has a hard time differentiating fact from fiction. Either way, the handsome but also deranged fashion designer still believes he has a chance with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), despite the fact that she doesn’t even want to breathe the same air as him. Here’s what you need to know.
Thankfully, Hope finally saw the light at Thomas Forrester and Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) ‘fake’ wedding. In other words, she realized that Thomas has been orchestrating this entire faux romance with Zoe in order to manipulate Hope’s feelings. And even though he failed terribly at doing so, actor Matthew Atkinson believes that his character still thinks he has a shot with the beautiful blonde. Yes, the delusion is real in this case.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Matthew offers this: “Thomas sees the situation for what it is. I don’t understand how Hope and Steffy still have any feelings for Liam whatsoever. I just don’t get it. This guy obviously has no conviction and bounces back and forth between these two girls and doesn’t really give either of them the attention that they deserve. And because at any point in time, this is what’s funny, if he ever wanted to get a rise out of his sister, he could manipulate Liam into kissing Hope again. All he has to do is give Liam the slightest nudge and he’ll go kiss another woman.”

The actor adds, “Thomas has made a lot of terrible decisions, but what’s funny is that every time I have scenes where I get to either call Liam out for his behavior or Brooke for her behavior, it’s so easy because they are sitting targets. They both have made horrible decisions in their lives. Thomas feels they are so hypocritical, and when they throw it in his face, it’s easy to throw it right back at them.”
