Phil’s estranged wife still believes that he was responsible for his death, and that means that a dramatic face-to-face meeting will be on the cards this week.
Phil will be knocked back when Sharon believes that he is responsible for Dennis’ death, but will he be able to talk his way out of the situation? Viewers already believe that there could be a dramatic exit for Phil this week, as Sharon could be about to let her grief take over here.

Sharon was told that Phil was responsible for Dennis’ death shortly after returning home after giving birth to her newborn son. Karen Taylor told her how Phil’s outburst at Keanu Taylor was the reason for the boat sinking. However, nobody knows yet that it wasn’t really Phil’s fault, as Ian Beale is a lot more guilty than Sharon’s estranged husband.
Ian locked Dennis in the basement to teach him a lesson for bullying his own son, but was unable to save him when the boat began to sink. That secret doesn’t look like it will be revealed for a few more months yet, which means Phil will need to navigate his way out of a sticky situation.

Sharon will be furious to see Phil when he makes his return next week, and she will only be further irritated when he continuously wants to talk to her. Ian will call the police on Phil when he feels tensions are about to escalate, but Phil will get his face-to-face meeting later in the week.
