TLC ‘Counting On’ spoilers finds that you must remember the giant house that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar raised all their children in. They live in a massive home in Springdale, Arkansas and ever since they have had children move out, they decided that it was probably time to downsize. Michelle isn’t working, but Jim Bob has a very successful real estate business, so you could say that these two have made out pretty well in the financial department. The mansion that they bought a few years ago has sold and it has given them a lot more money added to their income. We have the story on this.

TLC ‘Counting On’ Spoilers: The Selling Of The Baylor Mansion

Keeping up with a huge house can be tough on a family and now the Duggars don’t have to worry about that. The Baylor Mansion was beautiful and known for being inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. It was built in the 1960s and is massive with four kitchens and a 3.5 car garage. The Duggars knew that it would not be easy to sell and it was on the market for a few months. When you think about the cost of homes in Springdale, the average cost is about $175,000. For a house that has five bedrooms, the average is $389,000. What was the price tag on the Baylor Mansion? It sold for over $1 million!

TLC ‘Counting On’ Spoilers: Duggars Sell The Mansion

When Jim Bob bought the mansion, he got it for around $300,000! That was quite a steal back in 2014 and the Duggars put a lot of work into it so that someone could live in it someday and now they do! With all of the repairs and renovations that were done on the house, the Duggars will probably only see about $350,000 of profit off of this sale. It was always thought that one of the Duggar children would live in the mansion with their family since all of the children live in properties that Jim Bob owned.

Josiah and Lauren Duggar live in a home that Jim Bob owned and he gave it to them as a wedding gift. Joseph and Kendra Duggar also live in a house that Jim Bob owns and Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth bought their home from Jim Bob for just $10! He does like to keep his properties in the family and it seems that his kids are all cozy in them. You can check out the Baylor Mansion on previous episodes of ‘Counting On’ to get a better idea of what it originally looked like.
