CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may have spoken too soon. Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) offered Billy a sweet new job which he immediately declined. However, it seemed after talking to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) he realized he wanted the job, something to take his mind off everything and focus on. He returned to Jill’s to accept the offer only to find out he would have a partner to help “manage” his risky nature. Jill has brought on Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) to partner with Billy.

This, of course, doesn’t sit well with Billy who believed he’d be able to run the department. He gets defensive about it and looks to find answers from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), however, Billy doesn’t exactly get what he was looking for.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Did Jack Convince Billy To Take The Job Offer? – Reverse Psychology

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) goes to Jack to hear him try to convince him to take the job. Kind of a way to bounce his decision off of someone else. A deflection of self admittance. However, as soon as he walks into the office, Jack tells him that he’s here to say he’s not accepting the job. Billy looks at him confused. He wants to know how he knew. Jack tells him if he wanted the job he would’ve taken it. Billy acts like he’s there to talk about it because it’s a big decision. He tells him to walk away while he can.

Billy asks him if he’s using some kind of reverse psychology and Jack admits he is. Billy doesn’t know why he came here and instead Jack tells him not to ask him, but to ask himself. Billy has a look of realization in his eyes. Might have Jack just gotten through to him? What do you think? Did Jack’s reverse psychology actually work on Billy? Let us know in the comments below.
