CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) hasn’t been herself lately. She’s been through a lot, like being stabbed by Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) but it appears not all the damage was physical. She’s dealing with a lot of mental issues as well. Months and years of stress and anguish are suddenly pouring out and she’s attributing a lot of it to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Maybe she’s right, maybe she’s wrong. However one thing is for sure, she’s not herself, and people are noticing.
First, we saw her lash out at Billy which wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. However, her brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) came over to visit her before his first big day and she was in no mood for jokes. She got very confrontational and began to doubt if Nick was prepared for this. Her mother has especially noticed it and said something to Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). She explains that that’s not her daughter, he knows it and she knows it. So, what should she do to help?

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nate & Nikki Discuss Victoria – She Just Needs Time
Just give her time, is the answer Nate gives Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). However, that’s not the answer she’s looking for. She explains she has two children who need their mother and a company she’s been waiting her whole life to run. Nate assures her, it’ll just take time. The wounds weren’t just physical and she’s likely experiencing PTSD in the aftermath of the attack.
This has led to me believing that she may not want to rush back to the company. Victoria will take her time and deal with everything one thing at a time. Probably, beginning with Billy.
