CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) went to check in on his sister, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) before starting as the interim CEO. Unfortunately, she was not herself. While Nick tried to joke around about the situation and explain that he’s just filling in for her, she has a different opinion.
Victoria doesn’t want him to take it as a joke. She needs him to completely dive in and focus. Nick tries to explain that it’s just until she gets better, for the family. However, this isn’t what Victoria wants from him. His heart needs to be in it, not just his head. Is Nick truly prepared for this, or is Victoria just getting him worked up in her current state?

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nick Checks In On Victoria – “It’s Not A Game!”
Victoria herself seems to fall into a moment of regret for taking the CEO job. She tells him that it can take over your life. He asks her what she means but of course she just shrugs it off as her being tired. Nick wanted to go visit her sister and tell her the good news that he, not Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is ready to cover for her. Unfortunately, he got a good ribbing and a dose of self-doubt!
While Victoria is happy about the fact that Nick will be taking over the position instead of Adam, she doesn’t exactly show a lot of confidence. She tells Nick he was her best option. Gee, thanks, sis. Nick tells her to get some rest and walks over to speak with his mother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about his interaction with Victoria. She assures him the doctor is coming today and that Victoria is strong and it won’t take her long to bounce back. What do you think? Did Victoria give Nick some self-doubt or is he ready to go?
