CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) has just pulled the stupidest move in the history of ever. She’s just turned over ownership–ahem, excuse me–she’s just encouraged Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) to “go be with Sally for as long as you can”. In other words she’s just given Sally her boyfriend. I have heard of the golden rule, I have heard of someone having a heart of gold, I have heard of ‘dying unto oneself’ (yeah, I’m familiar with that biblical principle), but let’s face it, this is a little ridiculous.

Nowhere in the good book did it say that if the ex is dying that you have to give up your man. Nowhere. So what she’s doing is a really stupid move. She and Wyatt were actually on the road to a really cute relationship but then Sally had to end up dying and ruining things! (Okay, sorry, it’s not like that is Sally’s fault.) But the thing is she did not have to give up her relationship in order for Sally to be happy. Sally and Wyatt had broken up, Wyatt wanted to be with Flo, not Sally, and now thanks to the fact that in the Bold and the Beautiful-verse’s men have no personal agency whatsoever and can’t object or put their foot down once a woman transfers her ‘rights’ to another one then he didn’t really put up much of a fight.

I don’t even recognize the politics here. Where ownership of a relationship is transferrable. I mean, where I come from those are sacred rights. If Wyatt truly wanted to be with Flo he would have protested and fought with everything he had to be with her. He would have fought to be with his supposed soulmate but instead he decided he’d throw it all away to be with Sally for what, 2, 3 weeks tops? Yes, Sally’s dying, yes, it’s tragic, but that in no way entitles her to a relationship that had already ended!

But aside from that, it’s clear that Flo is shooting herself in the foot. We all know that some miracle cure or misdiagnosis is going to come along and by that time Wyatt and Sally will have rekindled their relationship and she will lose Wyatt forever, or at least until Wyatt decides that he’s free again. This is going to be very messy. Does either party need this? Not really. Will it happen anyway? You betch. Stay tuned!!!
