Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, ‘The Young and the Restless’ head writer Josh Griffith puts it this way, “Paul takes control when Genoa City is rocked by a major crime affecting all the key players.”

But what crime that will be, fans will have to tune in to see. Either way, it’s good to finally see Paul Williams back in action and of course, back in the spotlight. Elsewhere, the Abbott family will have a crisis of their own when they are struck by a huge blow. Griffith adds that there will be “conflicts that will arrives when family members have different reactions to the issue.”

If that weren’t enough, Devon and Elena will have to recalibrate their relationship with Hilary Curtis’ lookalike, Amanda Sinclair. And speaking of Amanda, she will continue to get in the middle of things between Victoria and Billy. While Billy can’t seem to figure out what he wants in his life, Victoria will come to the realization that some things are simply not worth fighting for. Of course,’ The Young and the Restless’ fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
