NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers tease that the love might still be there between Steve ‘Patch’ Johnson (Stephen Johnson) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). As a matter of fact, Steve makes a huge confession to Kayla by telling her that he’s actually Stefano. Read on for all of the latest spoilers.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Mary Beth Evans, who plays Kayla Brady on the hit NBC soap admits that at first, her character doesn’t believe the news at all. After all, it’s absurd for Steve to think that he’s actually Stefano, a man that has been presumed dead for a very long time now, right?
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Steve Makes A Confession to Kayla
The actress tells the publication, “Then he foes into detail about things, saying that Steve was on his way back to her when his goons abducted him and put Stefano’s essence into Steve. Kayla starts putting it together a little bit: ‘Oh, that’s why he signed the divorce papers without a call.’ She starts to accept that maybe it’s true because he’s been such a jerk to her.”

But with that said, it appears as though Steve ‘Patch’ Johnson takes things one step further, much to Kayla’s surprise. Mary Beth Evans further explains, “He takes his patch off and there are these two eyes. He said, Dr. Wilhlem Rolf fixed that for me. Kayla’s in disbelief. It’s all shocking. She’s trying to fight her way to the surface from under the water. She thinks that if he looks into her eyes, their love will supersede this and he will come out of it. But that hasn’t happened yet.”
With that said, Kayla tries to escape while ‘Steve’ tries to restrain her. Needless to say, she’s a big freaked out. That’s when she decides that everyone needs to know what is really going on before it’s too late.
