CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is a decent human being after all. This may come as a shock but after today, she may just have a heart after all. Did she learn a thing or two from the Grinch? Turns out, that after learning that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has a health scare going on, she’s been super nice to her. Almost too nice. Today though, Phyllis found out exactly what is going on with Sharon and was shocked.
Today while going in for a coffee and playing nicey nice with Sharon, Sharon finally asked her what the hell is going on. She knows she’s just being nice because of her “you know what”? However, Phyllis doesn’t know exactly what. Sharon already thinks she knows and tells her about breast cancer. Phyllis stood in shock and Sharon tells her she thought she know. Phyllis shakes her head and tells Sharon she know something was going on, but not that. Sharon pleads with her not to tell anyone and Phyllis agrees. She won’t say a word.

Later they sit down together in a booth to discuss it more. Phyllis continues to be outrageously nice and Sharon is tired of it. She just wants Phyllis to treat her like she did before she knew. In a playful way, Phyllis barks at her about getting her some coffee. She could walk down the street and find better coffee. They both look at each other and smile. Sharon thanks her and Phyllis tells Sharon her life would be boring without her.
Afterward, Phyllis shows back up at Nick’s place to talk about Sharon. Phyllis tells him she talked to her. Nick wants to know if she made it worse for Sharon. Phyllis doesn’t think so, and her smile turns to a more serious look. It made her realize life is bigger than her, she just feels like all the other stuff is small and petty now. It was a wake-up call. She asks Nick if Sharon will beat this. She will won’t she? Nick reassures her that she a great attitude and great doctors. Plus they found it early. Phyllis smiles at the news and says she can’t wait to be a thorn in her side again. Nick tells her it’ll be a good day when that happens, things will be back to normal.
