EastEnders Spoilers have been putting the stones in place for a huge upcoming storyline that will centre around Callum Highway (Tony Clay). The storyline will kick after Callum is paid a visit by a surprising returning character, and that will just set the scene for what is to come in a high-stakes storyline.
Callum has already appeared to be more stressed than usual over recent weeks as he is aware that his assessment is coming up. However, despite other characters trying to reassure him, he is blissfully unaware that he is being watched by somebody.

A few of Callum’s friends are worried that his nerves may have a negative effect on his performance for his assessment, so Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) and Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) both spend time with him and try to calm him down.
Their words didn’t help with Callum’s confidence, so they enlisted the help of Ben Mitchell. The two have recent reconnected, and Stuart hoped that this could be the push that he needs to get him over the line with his assessment. However, once Ben leaves, the assessment will become the last thing on his mind as he is visited by a ghost from his past.

Eastenders have been careful to not give anything away with this huge storyline, and Max Bowden, who plays Ben, also admitted that there are big things coming up. He spoke about Ben and Callum’s relationship last month, and he admitted that it is hard to believe that anything would ever be simple with them.
He then teased that a returning character will have an effect on whether the couple are able to move on with their life. Fans will have to continue watching to see how this plays out and to find out who the returning character is that could end Callum’s hopes of passing his assessment.
