‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for another visit to Fairmont Crest and share some fun spoilery goodies.
The episode for Thursday, April 16 looks like it’s going to be a fun one as we deal with some highs and lows in the DMV.
Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) has been trying to break his undercover case wide open. He’s sacrificed time with his wife and his own safety.
He’s placed himself as the boss over his partner, Smitty Smith (Mike Manning), for hacking Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix)’s computer.
But now he’s going to learn a tough lesson, and that has us wondering what it’ll be.
Chances are, it’ll be a reminder of how much he’s in over his head.
Meanwhile, Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) will look to patch up a fracturing friendship. He’ll try to convince Nicole to mend things with Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli).
Nicole will feel like she was betrayed after being attacked, and she’s not wrong. The thing is, nothing Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) said was wrong. It was the wrong setting.
Everyone is spiraling, but will Nicole realize that?
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, April 16: Jacob’s gonna learn
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers love Jacob. But the fact he pushed for this undercover assignment to prove himself to his father showed just how far in over his head he is.
He’s trying to control everything by changing meetups to keep his cover and hold Smitty to a line he shouldn’t cross.
His ideals are important to him, but they’re also failing him.
He had a chance to win Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso) over with his story, but his wanting to change handoff spots brought Grayson some heat.
Since then, Jacob may be better off coming clean with Grayson to get his full support. Would it work? Maybe not, but now we think Jacob will find out how deep he’s in it.
He witnessed what happened to a previous leaker. When he learns Nicole is being investigated he’ll find himself caught between his ideals and what he needs to do.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, April 16: Finding her way
Nicole is often called on to be the bigger person. It’s the persona she’s crafted over the years and she’s struggled to live up to it at times.
After Joey eviscerated Carlton Fitzgerald ( ) and then her family, she dug in. It makes sense and we don’t blame her.
Then Vanessa went after her for not taking the high road. So now she feels betrayed. After all, Vanessa should’ve sided with her over Joey.
Martin will understand all of that, and he’ll try to get her to find a way to mend fences with Vanessa. Friends fight and go quiet, but most find their way back to each other.
The thing here is Vanessa is struggling and relies on Joey to balance her. He’s great to her, but no one else sees it. They only see the rumors and his antagonistic personality.
Nicole is spiraling and seems to have lost herself. She wants allies, not disagreements.
There’s a middle ground and mutual trust and respect that’s there between them. It’ll be up to who will take the first step.
