‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sally Previously Lost Her Baby with Adam
This week on Y&R, Sally will realize she’s late and ask Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to bring her a pregnancy test to confirm whether she’s expecting Billy’s baby.
Longtime Y&R fans know that Sally previously experienced an unplanned pregnancy with Adam Newman(Mark Grossman). Sadly, her little girl, whom she named Ava, didn’t make it.
Adam was forced to choose to save either the life of the woman he loved or the baby. When he chose Sally, she was left heartbroken.
It shattered Sally when her baby died. The loss left her with plenty of unresolved trauma, and the tragedy altered the course of her relationship with Adam.
While Sally has the thought in mind that she’s pregnant, it could be a false alarm. Considering Sally’s past, she’ll undoubtedly be in an emotional state either way.
Finding out she’s pregnant may scare the bejesus out of Sally, since she had a high-risk pregnancy once before. It’s also possible that Billy may not have the reaction Sally wants.
However, if Billy wants this baby but Sally is hesitant, it will create more issues for the couple. Additionally, Billy may even propose to Sally if he discovers she’s pregnant.
A baby could either bring this pair closer or drive a wedge between them. At least Sally will have some support from Audra while she waits for the test results.

Yet, even if this is only a close call, it may lead Sally and Billy to discuss their future, and part of that may include having a child together.
Plus, Sally and Billy have navigated a complicated relationship, as she recently broke up with him over his notoriously fickle and selfish behavior.
Of course, Billy’s entire personality could make Sally question whether she wants to have a baby with him.
Billy isn’t exactly the perfect picture of a healthy, balanced, and stable adult. He constantly goes back and forth between various conquests and often seeks revenge on those he perceives as having wronged him.
Sally may wonder if she could even depend on Billy to raise a baby if she is really expecting. A pregnancy for Sally could also come with high stakes and huge risks.
Sally was supposed to travel to London with Billy to visit his mom, Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton). It was a healing journey that Billy wouldn’t have even considered if not for Sally.
Sally is a good influence on Billy as she keeps him thinking positively and grounds him. She encourages him not to give in to his worst impulses and to pursue a happy, healthy professional and personal life.
Sometimes Sally acts more like Billy’s babysitter than his girlfriend. Yet they do care deeply for each other.
That said, spoilers reveal that in the coming weeks, Sally and Billy will be planning their future together. Does that future include a little bundle of joy? Stay tuned to find out!
