‘General Hospital’ spoilers pose the question: Did Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) cause the accident that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) were involved in at the end of the April 7th episode of GH?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Camera Panned Over to Brook Lynn’s Empty Wine Glass
We have to say, in Brook Lynn’s defense, it looked like it was Jordan and Curtis’ own fault for canoodling while driving. It’s like texting and driving. Not a good idea, guys. Yes, we all know that Curtis and Jordan are madly in love, but really?
Anyway, there’s speculation that Brook Lynn may have hit them and didn’t even know, since the soap seemed to make such a big deal about Brook Lynn having a glass of wine, only for the camera to mysteriously pan to her empty wineglass.
Soaps often do that when they want to give viewers a big hint regarding the direction of a storyline. Of course, it may have been a fake-out, which soaps also like to do when they want to throw fans way off base.
That said, I didn’t believe it was Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) who shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) because I thought it would be way too obvious. When it comes to who-dun-it mysteries, soaps are also notorious for tossing us a good red herring.
So, I was wrong then. Am I wrong again? Did Brook Lynn cause Jordan and Curtis to veer off the road? She obviously had no idea about it if she did.
In the GH preview for tomorrow, Brook Lynn is talking to Gio Palmeri (Giovanni Mazza) at Charlie’s Pub. She doesn’t seem nervous or guilty of anything like that.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn Has the Most to Lose if She Is Somehow Responsible
Then again, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzn) were off together on a joyride after Danny told Charlotte that he wanted to “go somewhere fast,” which struck me as a bit odd. Maybe they caused the accident.
Spoilers hint that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will come to Charlotte and Danny’s rescue, which implies they may have had something to do with it.
Although we have to admit, Brook Lynn has the most to lose by causing a car crash. Brook Lynn and Chase have been given the green light to foster little Pheobe.
Brook Lynn wouldn’t want anything to mess that up. We definitely don’t want Brook Lynn to be responsible. She’s worked hard to become the person she is today, and that little baby needs her.
Plus, it would be heartbreaking for so many people. Everyone from Gio and Chase to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) would be affected. It would be a disaster for Brook Lynn.
So, for those reasons, we sincerely hope that GH isn’t using Brook Lynn to tell a cautionary tale about the perils of drinking and driving after she had one or two glasses of wine.
Besides, it’s not like she was falling down drunk. We do have to wonder whether panning over the glass was supposed to imply that Brook Lynn was being careless.
After watching Jordan and Curtis make out while driving, that is enough to cause an accident. Taking your eyes off the road is just as dangerous, if not more so.
